Who are my clients?

I am an independent web consultant and designer who works with small and medium sized businesses who want to take their websites to the next level of design or functionality. I also work with new businesses who know how important it is not to compromise on the way they present themselves to the world.

Many of my clients come to me because their existing websites are not attracting sufficient visitors and enough of those visitors are not being turned into customers. Part of the problem is often that design or content is stale and updating it is difficult, time consuming or low down on somebody's priority list.

I help attract more visitors by using sound design principles to push their sites up the search engine rankings. I help them make their websites more impactful to those visitors by putting in place clean original designs that are easy to use and help them differentiate themselves from their competitors. Content is fresh because I turnaround changes quickly myself or empower my clients with a range of tools designed to fit their preferences which allow them to safely change content quickly and easily.

Every site I build comes from a blank canvas. I place great importance on understanding your business and its people - only if this understanding is built into decisions on design will you will get something individual of lasting value to your business.

Web design goes deeper than what you see on a page. Different demands pull in different directions. Because achieving a favourable balance is a science rather than an art, I apply care and a knowledge of web design techniques that will get the best all round results.
